Iranian anti-corona spray unveiled

The head of the National Anti-Corona Headquarters in Tehran emphasized that whilethe mask-use strategy is the best practice to prevent virus transmission,upon sprayapplication on masks or any forms of clothing, coronavirus will be detected and inactivated.

The Iraqi cabinet officially approves Shalamcheh-Basra rail link

In an interview with the Iraqi News Agency (INA),director-general of Iraq's railways, TalibJavad al-Husseini announced that "Soon after the overhaul of the Fao port, direct talks with the Iranian officials will kick off. The 32-kilometer railway project came to a halt at the outbreak of the ISIL invasion in 2014.

Iraq hopes to increase gas imports from Iran

Iraqi Electricity Minister Majid Mahdi Hantoush expressed hope that his country could reach an agreement in upcoming negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran to increase gas imports. He announced that a delegation from the Iraqi Electricity Ministry will travel to Tehran next week to hold talks with Iranian officials in this regard. In these negotiations, he expressed hope that his country would be able to create necessary terms and conditions for increasing gas imports from the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The 28th Meeting of Iran-Turkey Joint Economic Cooperation Commission convened

Over preliminary discussions, chaired by the secretaries of the commission, the two sides reviewed the latest situation in various fields within the framework of five specialized committees. The commission was headed by Mahmoud vaezi and faith donmez. On eve of closing ceremony, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two countries. Referring to the importance of implementing the agreements made in this commission and other agreements made previously, Vaezi urged ambassadors of Iran and Turkey; "The two countries should seriously pursue the implementation of the agreements."

Iran exports goods to 143 countries

Despite oppressive and unjust sanctions imposed against the country as well as restrictions caused by the spread of coronavirus, COVID-19, pandemic, Islamic Republic of Iran managed to export to 143 world countries last year.In addition Iran  imported from 123 countries in this period.

Iran to ban Oil & Gas industry equipment procurement

In support of domestic production, Iranian minister of petroleum tasked the ministry under his command to substitute 70 foreign oil-refinery equipment with the Iranian counterparts and subsequently ban the import of the former.

Isfahan Municipality “Pol” Book Collection

With the beginning of "Isfahan Cultural Week", Isfahan Municipality unveiled a new book collection in 3 volumes. The Director General of Communication and International Affairs Department of Isfahan Municipality put forward that the first volume is dedicated to the sister cities of Isfahan, their capacity and thebases forfuture memorandums. The second one is about the traditional norms and values of the citye.g dress codes and customs. The third volume is in English and it is mainly about the governance structure and the urban management of Isfahan.

SiminDaneshvar; Creator of the famous novel “Savushun”

28th April marked the 100th anniversary of Iran's first female novelist, SiminDaneshvar. Her life was dedicated to empower Iranian women in literature. She is regarded as the first Iranian woman earned a PhD in literature. Unlike her fellow Professionals, she devoted a life-time on editing literary works. Daneshvar was also a renowned translator and a novelist. Her best-known work isSavushun published in 1969. It has undergone at least 500000 reprints and has been translated into 10 languages.

New curtains decorating the doors of the sanctuary of al-Abbas in Karbala

 New curtains, stitched and handcrafted by Isfahan’s female artists, were installed in the holy sanctuary. The cloth is of upscale velvet embroidered with all kinds of pearls and emerald stones. The artist have also employed calligraphy and kohl embroidery on the final product.

Iran's Noor satellite remains in orbit

Coinciding with the first anniversary of the launch of the Noor satellite, the IRGC Aerospace Force Commander announced that the satellite has remained active a year after its launch. He went on: The data collected by this multi-purpose satellite would be received on a daily basis. The Commander added "During the past year, this satellite has orbited the Earth 6,000 times over the past year and it has an orbital altitude of 410 km.
